Any reiki practitioners out there? How does it Blend for you? We do lots of Energy work in our dojo so it was pretty simple to grasp when I got my Reiki I cert this week. Very much like Bob Nadeau's Energy systems.

Re: aiki/reiki
Wed, June 6, 2007 - 6:36 AMPlease tell me when you learn to shoot ki balls. Won't that be a blast~? Seriously, though, I thought of learning Reiki. Nothing came of it; but at least I learned how to pronounce it. Congratulations on your attunement, and best of luck to you~!

Re: aiki/reiki
Wed, June 6, 2007 - 9:06 AMI am attuned to reiki but I don't really do reiki, I just let it come through in my bodywork. I don't know about Bob Nadeau's energy work but I really like a couple books by Koichi Tohei; "Kiatsu" and "Ki in every day life" The energy work that I do is much closer to that than it is to reiki. I also really like "Quantum Touch" -

Is that a touch that comes in distinct units or "quanta"?

Re: aiki/reiki
Wed, June 6, 2007 - 10:44 AMEric, this thread has nothing to do with anything you have any interest in, so why not go away and let us discuss this without your sarcasm and negativity?
Some people see aikido as a spiritual path, some don't. If this is good enough for most of us, can't it be good enough for you that not everybody does the same thing for the same reasons? -
